Hippodrome de Montreal


Sunday, June 3rd, Hippodrome de Montreal presented the 10th edition of the Prix du Quebec, the first major event of the 2007 racing season and highlight of the year for older horses.

Four finals for Quebec-bred horses 4 and older was presented, each for a purse of $100,000.


History of the Prix du Quebec

Inaugurated in 1998, the Prix du Quebec was created to recognize the contribution of older horsesa and encourage owners to extend the racing careers of the best Quebec-bred trotters and pacers.

Coupe de L'Avenir and Coupe des Eleveurs champions and participants from years past have an opportunity to once again showcase their talents for a local audience.
